Filmed over 11 days throughout Morocco from busy Fez to beautiful Merzouga, through to Essaouira by the sea and back to Marrakech - making this was about as fun as filmmaking can get.
The blank canvas of a passion project like this gave filming partner Nuri and I a huge amount of freedom to fail and try new things. Like any shoot, lots went wrong, lots went right, but the entire process taught us a lot and was a huge amount of fun. These days I see this film as a nice demonstration of style that I apply to most commercial work I do.
